Thread regarding ExxonMobil Singapore layoffs

Any Way to legally battle a layoff after a wrongly imposed PIP?

I understand that this is a road most are not willing to take, even if they were laid off in the end. However I can’t stop wondering if there is any way to legally battle this, if you have evidence that a PIP has been unrealistically and wrongly imposed on an employee and that the only purpose of such a process was to get rid of that employee, regardless of his work and results. Has anybody been down this road or is this something, as many claim, not worth even trying?
