this is as bad as retail can get. if you can get out please do so. belk is the bottom level for retail, nothing more than a glorified thrift store. take it from me, i was nervous about leaving, then i got a job real fast at Harris Teeter. much better, than belk ever was.

Why people continue to stay in toxic relationship and afraid to leave? The same question for all you Belk workers that why they stay in toxic Belk company and refuse to leave?
- Low self-respect, low self -esteem will do this to you because no other retail companies want you?
- Fear of the unknown and fear of the failure of something better out there?
- Hope that Belk abusive company will change for the better?
There are many other reasons people stay with bad companies because the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know? Remember YOLO “You Only Live Once” so get out while you still alive! Do it tomorrow not today Belk beloved workers!
