Extraordinary pay for incoming experienced hire

Can anyone share how you feel, if you know that incoming new employee with the same # of experience year, are offered a pay with 10-15% more than yours (post 2021 increment somemore, gosh).

Personally i am super frustrated about this as i have been contributing millions saving to the company, but company choose to reward the incoming employee with higher pay instead of us. And the worst is, they demand to do 2.5x work (actual experience), per effort rate is eventually negligible (sleepless night due to midnight calls and message, tense weekend as you may get haunted by the site call)

Well, i have taken bold step to leave EM, and i know many more will/already do so. I greatly appreciate peaceful time i had now, have clear mind to think about my next career destination, have time to upgrade my skills by attending courses/forum, etc. Perhaps all these intangibles is unachievable if i am in EM. (i still draw same amount of $$ in my new company, awesome!)

it's like signing up for mobile phone plans.

Attractive incentive for new sign-ups.
Existing users can just suck thumb.

This is not fair, at best, it's not fair to pay them so much.
