Thread regarding Change Healthcare layoffs

Schedule 14A included with Annual Rpt.

For those of you who may own CHNG shares, you likely received not only their annual report but a Schedule 14A, as well.

Wanna get REALLY bummed out? Go to the Executive Comp section in the 14A. It's no wonder the ELT is working SOOOO hard to push the Optum deal....they all make tens of millions of $'s.

Yet the 95+% of employees get absolutely nothing, as a result. It's little more than deflating and so discouraging what their true motivation is.

Totally agree with the statement around "revenue growth", especially with them selling ClaimsXtend. Simply a total sellout by leadership so they can make their millions....truly pathetic! And the level of trust of leadership has plummeted over the last year and gotten only worse of the last several months.
As for layoffs, don't know if that will or won't happen but one thing I am sure of is that if the merger goes through, hundreds of folks are hitting the exits. Hundreds ALREADY HAVE! NO ONE wants to be associated with Optum/UHC except for the ELT ,so they can cash out.

The CHC SEC filings also include the acquisition agreement. Review the offers the executives referred to in the original post receive if the deal closes. Several have positions upon deal closing.

The entire group that left totaled over 1,500 and jobs moved offshore.

Unless someone has insight, I do not foresee any CHC revenue growth or potential new revenue generating opportunities for the foreseeable future. CHC needs the deal to close because they are not a sustainable standalone company.

CHC employees are not in a good position. Doubtful, but if the acquisition closes there will be a large number of layoffs. If the acquisition does not close there will be a large number of layoffs. As always, the employees are in a no win situation.

An entire group left, probably forced out, but those positions won't be hired for. Does that count as a layoff?

Referencing UHG, anyone keeping track on how many times they've been sued...they must have an entire building full of high $ attorneys. No wonder hospitals/docs, etc hate them so much and only deal with them because they HAVE to.

CHC has become a joke. It's says a lot about both UHG & CHC that they won't stop trying to MAKE the merger happen even thought the DOJ has filed suit to stop it.
MONEY, MONEY, and MORE MONEY for the "impotent" people at the top!!
