I thought they would get rid of me a long time ago given my age, but I’m still here. I always tried to help new hires as much as I could so that they could get used to working here. However, I have become tired of correcting other people's mistakes. Walmart, on the other hand, doesn't seem to care that it employs people without any experience as long as there are those who will fix their mistakes. But what will happen one day when there is no one left to do it?

No, accountability in that company.
I think we have to make a distinction where we are talking about. I assume you are referring to store associates.
Unfortunately, they will literally hire anyone with a heartbeat. You don’t even have to speak English. You don’t even have to be able to read. Isn’t that just sad?
Got a long arrest record, no problem. Walmart Will hire you to work in the store.
The point is, with the bar set so absolutely low, the expectation is that there’s going to be a lot of turnover. There’s going to be a lot of internal shrink. There’s going to be a lot of no call - no show.
You might not know this, but, you can even steal from Walmart, get caught, and still keep your job. No lie. That’s an absolute fact.
I don’t see much changing, either. Not all, but most store associates are working at Walmart because they can’t get anything else. And, Walmart knows that.
Wait---30 years at Walmart? Whoa...
They will put anyone in a position as long as their willing to work the shift. In my 3+ decades of working for walmart I have never seen such lazy, incompetent employees. But is that really a walmart issue or a people issue. New hires seem to be worse.
Then quit. Go somewhere else.
I feel the same way. They don't do anything but pass those lazy people around. I really keep hoping for severance because I'm tired of cleaning up after people.
