Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

No stability

I try not to worry in advance but I'm always thinking of other options. I don't believe there will be any layoffs for a while. Still, I don’t think my job is too secure either. I have seen many times what happened to people who thought they would not get cut. How stable do you think your job at PepsiCo is?

Layoffs are the PepsiCo Way. Proceed accordingly.

There may not be any imminent layoffs, but trust me, they are coming. Connect the dots and it will make sense. Don't become complacent thinking otherwise.

So glad others can see thru the propaganda & smokescreens the company tries to promote. "Best place to work, diversity, inclusion", etc. Sad part is some realize what's going on & about to happen & others not so much. Oh and to the HR peeps...how do you sleep at night?

If you can perform your job from home using a laptop - you’ve answered your own question. Zero stability and sooner or later - your job will be rolled into GBS. There is ZERO loyalty in this snake pit. Don’t show any either.

my job is going away. now that I have trained GBS, the managers will be trained in the next 5 weeks on payroll. once they are trained I assume (and hope) they will offer me a buyout
