so because someone works in a store, it's an entry level job? just hiring a 16 year old off the street as SM for their first job would be a pretty risky endeavor
but yeah, the person sitting at home designing our monthly 'fun' calendars definitely deserves to make more then managers or long tenured employees who have had to go IN to work every day, and deal with being yelled at by customers for not carrying what they're looking for anymore, while also being yelled at by the DM because conversion is ONLY 45% for that day
I can see some of the corporate positions being remote. DM and district positions should be in the stores. Our old district staff would actually help us out. Now you cannot even get a reply half of the time.
Nobody working from home should make more then anyone actually in a store? WHAT? Let us think about this .Employee #1 has a degree, you have decades of experience, you can do your job remotely. Employee #2 is in an entry level job and there is no way they can do their job from home..they are not a Surgeon or a highly educated job. It is a basic job. Someone sounds very jealous about those working from home. In a way I can agree..but it is the nature of the job
Our SM had to change his personal phone to an Iphone because the DM wanted him to face time for visits. DM hasn’t been inside the store in 9 months.
Nobody working from home all this time should be making more than anyone actually in a store. I have had DMs I've never met or spoke to. Nobody responds to email and if they do it is the most half a-s lazy answer, less info than I had to begin with. Corporate staff have completely lost respect from store staff bc of their own policies and actions. Clean the slate.
