Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Time of the Year

It's that time of the year, as an entitled engineer, I walk into the office, pretend I'm looking at type curves, or whatever other ponzi scheme of cost cutting initiatives we engineers come up with, for 10 hours straight, so to hit my manager with recency bias in the upcoming rankings.

Ready to be ranked O/D again!

@6zsh - I regularly worked 13-14 hour days, for 18 years in Product Development at Paulsboro. It was only after the NJRSC that I cut my regular work day down to 8-9 hours, when the company left me with a 68-mile/105-minute, each-way commute. Even then, I often worked remotely in the evening and at weekends.

10 hours pffft. That’s an easy day. You must be at EMHC. Try the Permian if you want to work long hours.
