@1sqh You are so correct and as much I appreciate what Tom is trying to do. I still see a lot of arrogance with barely any humility and it seems they are all living in their own little bubble and trying to convince people that they are so correct. Even in the board of directors there is not a single person who really has an idea of future semiconductor technical expertise.

I remember that ! Such a weird time. Seriously f the mgt. !! I saw a post on here a few weeks back that called them the rejects from our competitors or amateurs at best and I can’t stop thinking about how correct that statement is. Some have of been managers for over twenty years! But in a hermetic bubble with no exposure to other systems or how other real management behaves. They never got an education or training or experience in other environments. But they are smug and think they are doing it correct or by the book. But it’s a twisted warped mutated book they wrote and grew-up in themselves. They don’t know any better. It’s always funny to see new people come in and get shocked by their management skills and tactics. I would say more then half newbies leave with 6 months and it is large part to this ba----dized management style.

@bzm badge numbers are also used for vendors/contractors so that’s a flawed methodology.

Not disagreeing with the premise that GF has high turnover even among semi peers, just saying that’s not evidence

I think majority of people are unhappy because they are not paid enough and doing triple amount of the work. If you go off and compare us to any other semiconductor company we are significantly under paid while performing triple amount of jobs/tasks our peers are doing at competitor companies for the same positions and rolls….

It’s not to be happy coming to work to socialize and hangout, etc, but happy with amount your being compensated for the work you preform

Find a new hire, look at their badge and note their employee number. That will give you an idea of the thousands of employees who have cycled through GF.
