Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Feels like they're intentionally trying to ruin PepsiCo's reputation

Why did we have to be among the last major corporations to suspend business in Russia? We took an unnecessary hit to our reputation and for what? It's similar to suing farmers for growing potatoes that infringed on our patent a few years ago. Who exactly thought that would be a good idea? A child would realize it would backfire, but not PepsiCo management. We're run by a bunch of id--ts.

Pepsico's stupid leadership did nothing for 2 weeks because they were quietly backing their partner Putin. They thought this war would be over in 2 days and be forgotten about and it would be back to business as usual. Just like Putin underestimated and miscalculated the Ukrainians, so did Pepsico. So after 2 weeks, after everyone else left, the leadership makes the bold, brave and fearless decision to pull out. Anyone can see what kind of two-faced, not to be trusted organization Pepsico is. They really have damaged their reputation and brand siding with a maniac mu---rous criminal dictator.
