Thread regarding Barnes & Noble layoffs

There aren't many ways to stop the decline

Management's moves are sometimes very frustrating. BN is definitely sinking. However, when I think about it a little better, is it even possible to do anything to at least slow down that decline? I'm afraid BN doesn't have much of a chance to stop the downward spiral because this is a dying industry.

People will continue to read. They will not support poorly run companies that don’t put customers first.

I just found out about this site and I'm so glad, I felt like I was all alone. Management has really been treating us badly and everyone is afraid to speak up. But now I can see the same thing is happening at all the stores by reading the posts here. It's gotten so bad since sales have gone way down. I'm looking to get out as soon as I can find something.
