It would be great if someone also took a few coworkers with him / her after some time has passed since leaving this company. Admittedly, I don't know anyone who did that here. I don't even know what's Nordstrom's policy regarding this?

Who cares what their policy is. This is retail and anything goes including poaching under appreciated and over worked employees.
