Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

Is Hasbro better?

I intend to start over at another company. Mattel's totally lost vision. Everyone should always think of themselves first and always look for something better.
It would mean a lot to me if someone who has worked here and at Hasbro can make some comparisons for me. Is it better or worse there?

Do people still enjoy living in LA or has the city really become the dystopian nightmare of trash, crime, homelessness and open air public dr-g markets as portrayed by Fox News?

When the economy I’d down and toy sales plummet Hasbro will lay you off just as fast as Mattel. Also Pawtucket RI isn’t exactly the same as LA. Why not look at the smaller LA toy companies and save the move?

hasbro had a tendency of bringing mattel employees into the fold, learning the process and cutting them within a year. Though nowadays it wouldn’t surprise me if they could care less about mattel process since it’s such a dumpster fire. may be a good move. better than working for isaac.

Hasbro is so much better. Plenty of Mattel designers have made the jump. Also some project planners and some marketing. Just a better climate and nicer people. Leaving behind Mattel's toxic management, failed promised and misplaced priorities is refreshing and liberating. Hasbro's overhead is lower so toys don't get all the fun cost-reduced out. A shame that their CEO Brian Goldner died in late 2021, he was an EXCELLENT leader and really super guy. Can't say that about any of Mattel's CEOs since Bob Eckert left.
