Here we go hypocrites

The Completely hypocrisy in the messaging on IWD on linkedin. Some of them with whom I have personally interacted have shown bias with other colleagues and have discouraged folks to take positions

It sometimes feel like these programs/training particularly how they are rolled out in GF has the opposite effect….. and ends up excluding and alienating various groups… it often feels like GF has a distinct favored group they are catering too. So these programs Seemed super aimed at making one particular group feel included/special while others are 2nd tier or even outright excluded….

@3xsr it makes sense what you mentioned regarding the belonging but the best analogy here would be” let’s assume you want to bond with a child but you want be cheap and so you buy some cheap toy from dollar store and then you are surprised why you are not forming a bond with the child”. The problem is they think they are too high up and we are some sort of d-mbfucks who will immediately get a sense of belonging/bonding with the brand with this cheap a-s junk that they keep giving.

@1vtt they should have chosen the nWo (W)olfpac sign instead! anyways, apart from 90's wrestling/elementary school nostalgia...

it's a common leadership tactic to try to develop a bond/sense of belonging. Swag usually works better, but maybe the coffers are empty. Maybe they spent all the money on those nice softshells with the new logo some of the execs are wearing

If you look carefully they are just showing the exit doors like the airlines. Maybe it’s a sign for all of us to exit.

Since the overlords are censoring, we’ll just have to repost.

The gesture was made famous by the RDJJ of Degeneration X.

With regard to @OP, not surprised. There's probably not much, if any, competition for vacant positions because of the scarcity of talent. Or the people doing the hiring already have someone in mind

@cvd I haven't attended recent GW events, so I'm not sure of its significance, but the "X" thing is really cringey

It’s all (mostly) virtue signaling, and lots of companies are doing it today. I just want to know who came up with the sign for it being an x across one’s chest? >.>
