Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

When is the next layoff?

I am hearing that Xerox is about to hold another round of layoffs. It stands to reason that they would have to cut people so that the 3% raise they will give to the few employees who "deserve" them can be cost neutral.

Anyone else hearing anything?

When has this company not been laying off…Seems to have been their
main policy as a response to declining revenue year over year.

Honestly I don’t think there will be one. With the mass resignations, I heard there are lots of job postings so they need people now… and can’t afford them!

It is production but it's on direct side. Seal and Tiger training is overrated. XBS is going to own the sales cycle. All you have to do is look at some of the Production people that have left (recently promoted VP's)

Gas is headed to $7. The rumor of something "big" has been around for 30 years. XRX has never done anything big. Death from 1000 cuts. If revenue is still declining, there will still be layoffs. Revenue has ben declining since way before 2019.

Production is the next cut.

This is a fact.

With the Minuteman Class Action Law Suite.. they (HR) is starting to dig into how many production reps sell gear above V4100.

From my experience in my core, 3-5 people could go. Anybody can sell a PrimeLink.

But you gained employment elsewhere when the job market was good and gas was not heading to $5 and WWIII wasn't just around the corner, right?

I've heard that something "big" is coming but I'm not sure if it's just our organization or company-wide. Either wouldn't surprise me though due to the drop in revenue and billings since 2019. As someone else has posted here before "costs follow revenue" or something to that effect.
