It is definitely possible. Lowes has screwed too many employees for too long.
So tonight we had a meet up consisting of over 80 employees from three different stores in our market. We all have a similar sentiment about unions, but with how we've been treated for the past couple years, with constant restructuring, threatened with our jobs over credit cards, etc., that a union might be needed. We discussed goals, plans, structuring, etc. We think we might be on to something.
Most of the employees at my store were in support before the meeting, but now knowing other stores have similar support in the market boosted our morale. A few people from the other stores stated that their stores have a similar feeling as well, and that they would take action with us.
