Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Today, the talk I’m hearing is that an entire Inj team did not show up for work. Don’t know the details. Can anyone confirm if this?

True, in terms of which paycheck. But, since it was approved by the board, it is fully earned now.

After august, the Xmas bonus gift will be there, then after that, we might as well stick around for next year's bonus. I promise I'll only complain about conditions if I'm Super unhappy, like if someone make a dollar more than me, or I .......I.......well, you know the drill by now.

No claims employee with an ounce of pride or modicum of brains would stay until August- unless you luv the Farm!

I wouldn’t leave until the bonus was in my account. Claims is getting another $1,500 in August, thanks Tippy!

Yes all claim employees should be resigning this week. Anyone that stays loves the Farm!

I thought all dissatisfied employees were going to leave after the bonus check. IT IS IN THE MAIL, IT IS SAFE TO LEAVE NOW!

Funny how quiet some groups are lately. Be careful what you support. For both sides truth, honor, courage, work ethic, and inability to be selfish always wins. Always has and always will. This world always runs tyrants out. Tyrants will always fight each other. Happens in business too.

LOL, all talk no action. You can literally go back 5 years on this site and find the same exact comments. ZERO chance of a union, ever.

Interestingly, after ww2, returning vets after facing death everyday, wanted better lives. As such the formed unions resulting in a storng middle class. This generation all those gains were lost. However, the pandemic has caused the same attitudes as those returning vets. Works are realizing they are the real power abd change is coming...

One person called out sick, another took leave because of an issue with family.
