Conserving Oil

Given the escalating tensions in the Ukraine and Russia and future potential shortages/rising prices of oil in the U.S., has any consideration been given for additional days to work from home? Seems like it would be prudent to conserve national resources and reduce our dependence on foreign oil sooner vs later.

I agree. Field employees are our lifeblood and should be treated as such. Those guys do more with less everyday

I don't care if people work from home but field personnel should be compensated accordingly. If a certain few get to cut their costs and have flexibility, the ones who have to be in the office/field should get an extra cost of living raise. Cant have only some people getting perks and not others.

Some of us that work in Plano have also worked in the field. We also went to undergraduate and graduate school to set ourselves apart. I’m thankful to all of our field employees that bust their a-s, but don’t act as if we don’t do the same. Stop trying to compare apples to watermelons.

Some of us haven’t worked from home yet. We’ve been in the field and field offices and out with the rigs. So STFU. Too many worms in that Plano office.

Forget WFH. I want to talk about pay, everything is higher. Our CEO talked about it on a call, you think that was to tell us we’d be getting a cost of living raise like every other company. But no, all we hear is how well the company is doing and they haven’t caught us up on pay or brought back cut off benefits.

I guess this is because of the new owners wanting back all the money MA, PR, and CK wasted putting us in bankruptcy.

Oil companies are hiring like crazy, good luck if you don’t do something about pay.
