The only people who advance in the company are the corporate wonks who spout the company phrases. They can be completely oblivious to the area they are supposed to "lead" and their motivations are fueled by not getting into to trouble. PepsiCo's mantra of Better, Faster, Stronger is really all just cut, cut, cut. I started many years ago in a very dysfunctional situation and haven't been able to improve it. They talk about voice opinions fearlessly. Well, keep in mind that people who are unafraid will also be the ones who will get shot in the line of duty. That's what will happen if you voice an opinion or try to make a suggestion for the better. Getting out soon for my own sanity and mental health.

This is a company that will do and say anything for a dollar regardless of how unethical, immoral, hypocritical it is. This is the company that presents themselves as proud and brave social justice warriors battlling for racial equality, diversity , inclusion blah blah blah.. Just look at the "Leadership" they present on their corporate website. There are 25 faces and 22 are white men and white women, the other 3 are the token African-American, Asian and Indian guys. 88% white. I am sure this accurately reflects the markets and communities they serve. Apparently a woman of color is not smart enough to be part of this elite group. So much for racial equality. This company is a joke !
I’m leaving at the end of March after 27 years. I cannot continue train managers that are only in role to move to the next role. Best of luck to those that haven’t make the decision to move on.
