I heard but cannot find that store associates are allowed to wear 1 headphone. Is this true? Can someone find the policy? I found supply chain's policy but what about store?

It is actually part of the dress code policy. Associates are allowed one headphone since we communicate via the me@walmart app.
We wear them at 1460 in Hastings NE
Formally, the policy is no headphones. And if there’s ever a question mgt will fall back on that. However, most stores are informally allowing 1 wireless ear bud as long as it’s not very conspicuous and you still hear what’s going on around you.
I can't find it now. At one time it was in the wire when it talked about decommission walkies in favor for the awful me@walmart talkie app. I wish they would, I hate the walkie

I Think that was created at store level management normally has one headphone over their ear for the walkie and I think that was how the associates justified them wearing one headphone
As with a lot of other things, the final say will be up to the management where you work.
