Does anyone else have this problem? Where you know that you aren’t getting paid well enough or have another better opportunity elsewhere but you fight this battle of loyalty to your company regardless of your tenure here? You think that you may still have a chance or you might get paid more soon enough.. so you want to stay back and be loyal? Or should I jump ship as soon as the next opportunity comes. Want to hear some thoughts on this.

You joking?
Don’t feel guilty, do you think PZ feels guilty collecting $20M plus a year when he authorizes laying off thousands each year???? He probably asks why there can’t be more layoffs so he can collect $30 M a year….
Everyone is replaceable and the day you leave, someone else will be doing your job so I wouldn’t feel guilty at all.
Never feel guilty for doing what is best for you
You matter
Never look back
Guilty? Then you’re not meant for corporate. Always remember you are just a number to these people. No matter how much they say they value you and how hard you work.. unless you truly see the rewards to those words spoken, you are better off without them. They will not feel “guilty” when they let you go. Do what’s best for your career and your growth. Does not matter if your boss is amazing or team is, if you have opportunity to rise up and/or make money.. do what’s best for you not for someone else. It pains me to see people leave opportunities on the table because they feel bad or can’t leave because of their own loyalty. Do not make that mistake.
The effort you put into sticking around should be relative to the effort this organization put into developing you as a professional.

Have your bosses and colleagues been loyal to you? Repay that if yes, don't if not
