Execs (directors and up) are in for the money only... they are totally clueless.
My director in IBM Software is such a d-mb guy who does not want to learn anything about the products he is supposed to support.
I had to present a technology product to IBM Execs once. I told my boss never again. They were such clueless wastes of time.
VPs at IBM do make $400K… that’s before bonus, GDP, RSUs, etc… they are all wankers.

It’s good to be the king Until the band 10 and above numbers are 1/2ed IBM will be stagnated. Historically IBM has always arranged their management in a 10 to 1 arrangement. Time to move to 25 to 1

VPs are useless, Directors are even more useless.
Their titles reflect what they did for IBM many years ago. Since then the market changed, IBM changed, those roles were eliminated, but they stayed on. Look at the former Global Markets - chains of Band C/B/As 8 layers deep with a span of 1 at each level. No rhyme or reason.
There was a VP that reported to AK's chief of staff...VP of Client Advocacy or some sh-t like that. What do these people even do?
