Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

They are not interested in far-reaching consequences

This would not be the first company to make the mistake of losing many employees and then later realizing that they should not have lost all those people. Only by then it is usually too late.

Who will be responsible when the company starts needing people who will not be want to return or whose replacement will not be easy to find?

That's Corporate for you. Typical Corporate playbook. When they don't want to look bad in the media for layoffs that were over due in order to shore up cash flow etc etc due to ebitda, covid, mismanagement of growth reporting, merger mellow yellow legacy, getting hacked.... you know typical Corporate stuff....Oh wait I read the news over the weekend....freedom of choice isn't done yet son hang on to your walnuts...5...4....3.....2.....1..... ever pay attention in history class to Water Gate....hold my beer....

Bless your heart. Absolutely amazing - they'll be sorry. No, they won't.

Won't even ask or try to understand...why any employee would think of themselves as irreplaceable.
