Thread regarding Belk layoffs

They pushed most of the good employees out and now they're paying for it

Bottom line is they want 17 year old girls working the stores making min wage, on-call, part time, no benefits, no perks, however this plan is failing miserably, and now Belk does not know what to do because they pushed all the good employees out, or they are getting ready to quit, and now the only people applying work for a few weeks then quit when they see what is really going on. What. A. Mess.

Exactly this. You get what you pay for, and Belk is getting the sales that go with the unskilled workforce. They hired kids who are not interested in making the sale or helping the customers because they were cheaper. I have to say, I like seeing their many bad decisions come back to bite them in the a-s.

When nothing is going Right then go Left. Belk top leaders are going around in Circle like a circus and hoping to make it Right with Belk good workers already left the Belk sinking ship. Such a pathetic intelligent thinking at Belk?

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten! Good work Belk quality workers ain’t cheap. Cheap low lazy workers ain’t good! Wake up you bonehead and Belk executive leaders trying to think cheap and get what they deserve!
