An stm is making around $42k while some store managers are making on average $85k-$120k doing half or none of the work in some cases. Something is really wrong with this picture, especially the bonus which is paid to store manager if you steal hours from the employees. Literally the manager is making money off the backs of the associates by cutting hours!

wow.. this post says it all. and some store managers ask the stm and mtm for help. not saying all store managers are bad, some are amazing, but those are few and far between. I left when our store manager started working bankers hours and giving all the other managers a cr---y schedule.
A straw will show which way the wind blows. Follow money and greed at Belk and you see who will get the big cash bonus at the end of the year for doing “good work” for Belk workers!
