Heard it's all going to self-checkout, anyone working at one yet? If so, how is it working out? Do the self-checkouts take cash? Some people still write checks, will that no longer be available? How many self-checkouts will a host cover? What about the customers that are using WIC, EBTs? If your store has all self-checkouts how are the customers reacting to it? There are lots of older folks who don't know how to use them, nor do they want to use them.

Walmart doesn’t give a fu-k if the customers like to use self checks or not. They are going to go all self checks. It’s coming. Nothing anyone can do about it.
In California, checkout isn't required. Just take what you want, no charges will be filed.
