Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

To leave is an economic necessity

I no longer have any doubts whether I should leave or not. I have to leave now. PepsiCo does not care at all about the purchasing power of its employees and whether some of them can still pay their bills with such high inflation. I am urgently looking for a job where I will have a higher pay, and I think that many more will decide to leave mostly out of economic necessity?

You forgot to mention it was an emotional, psychological and physical necessity too. Did I leave anything out?

What about the years when inflation is 1% or there is deflation. You don’t hear much from folks about those years. If you want better pay improve your circumstances, work harder. Get off the board and stop bi-----g.

Phew, for a second I thought you were talking about me…. Until I got to the fat and saggy part. I’m creepy and old, but not fat and saggy…

In Plano the Campus Hire Program was a great opportunity for all the creepy, fat, sagging, wrinkled, ugly 50 year old has-been managers that still thought they were hot tight 22 yo studs to hit on college chicks, I hope they don't end this program.

The Campus Hire Program is the biggest morale ki----g thing about PepsiCo.

Campus recruits started at 65K base in PBNA sales last year. New grads going into supply chain started at 72,500. It took me 20 years and working long hours to make this much. Diversity candidates get favorite status for raises and promotions. Thank you for screwing me pepsi. Thank you for the cr---y 1-2% raise while knowing I was unfairly paid. I’m scorecarded on every cr-p I take. Pepsi you are failing my morality scorecard.

"I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony...."
I was devastated when I was kicked to the curb.
Now I'm watching a snake swallowing it's tail, too stupid to know the consequences of its actions.

What a ridiculous assumption ... can we please keep politics off this board. It is just too corrosive. Thanks all.

You probably voted for the cause of the inflation, voting has consequences!! I still remember Indra's speech in 2016 saying how employees were scared to come to work after the election!! Typical HR driven liberal company!!
