Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Another video from exec

Well there’s another mindless and tone deaf video from Wensley. I bet people want to drop their pens and quit every time they post a sunshine and unicorn video like that. It just proves they don’t give a sh-t about you or the customers.

At least you get to hear from your senior execs. In et we hear more from c suite than we do from our own.

I have to ask the real question here: Who has time to watch a video? Let alone read the pages upon pages of Emails that flood my inbox daily, most of which are important changes to processes or pep talk emails that just waste my time and dont make my job less stressful nor my workload manageable.

Can we take the SF homepage and media team and get them taking inbounds already? Why are so many programmers wasting time when they could

They can take their red shirts and fake smiles and shove them right up eachother's as--s. Whose idea was that video and what decade do they think we're in, here? They have no clue how ridiculous they look to everyone.

State Farm is used to rely on their brand and reputation to flex. Unfortunately, SF forgot there is a thing called the internet, and websites like LinkedIn, indeed, payscale, glassdoor, and forums that share information to where SF can't play the smoke and mirror game anymore. They can claim to be the best but anyone with diligent research skills will find out the truth.

People aren’t staying lmao. Express is collapsing because over 1000 people quit in the past couple of months.
It’s crazy how they won’t raise everybody’s pay or do anything other than put out a sh---y fake a-s video that just pi---s people off even more.

yes there is , just spend 5 minutes on indeed search for claims and be amazed at how the lowest paying job pays way more than starting wage at SF and the highest one pays very good.

Agreed, $8-10k at other carriers what what I’m seeing. Many are also offering bonuses for hard to staff positions .

My favorite part was the we’re dedicated to helping you continue the great work in 2022. Yes they are by not increasing the pay to be more in line with what other companies in the industry are paying their claims reps and by continuing the mandatory OT. That email and message makes me want to punch them in their stupid faces. My friend took another claims job with a different company and has the same benefits that State Farm offers including a pension that they got rid of plus he gets paid 20k more now. Once my resume is updated I’m looking elsewhere. This company is the modern equivalent of a 1920’s sweat shop.
