3M should hire more Technicians and less Managers, Directors and VP'S.

The Adv3M structure has created another layer of management reporting. Just see how many SVP, VP and directors created by region by BG. Amazing.
How about just scaling back size of labs with drastically reduced mgmt numbers
As one of those lab managers, I'd absolutely love to. My department could use another 5 technicians easily. I'll get on that Just as soon as my division president decides they are willing to pay for R&D.
Reminds me that after successive waves of layoffs over the years, a department was left with all the managers and only one technician. Then in the next layoff, the technician also got the notice. Only then they realized that who would do the work then. His notice was taken back after two weeks.
