Allstate is aggressively hiring on indeed. Every possible claims related position is available.
I get that Allstate cut 8% across the board (that’s 8 people out of a group of 100…not a huge cut—although I certainly feel for those affected) during the pandemic. But why do you guys feel so strongly about a similar or even larger forthcoming cut?

How naive can you be dar’lin ? They hire people to give the American worker bees a false sense of security ….how could they lay off anyone when they’re hiring like crazy? Honey child, you need to learn a thing or two about how Allstate works. This is a smoke and mirrors tactic. They ain’t hiring for keeps they’re hiring for temps ! They got caught with their pants half way down and now have to shore up the staff ….. but only until India and the AI is ready to take it over. They will lay off folks again. They are working on eliminating just as fast as they are hiring. Don’t be fooled. American workers cost too much. Simple math. These money mongers don’t give two hoots about you. One thing I learned from allstate is expect the unexpected. Last year as you mentioned thousands were laid off (leading to massive short staffing) only to have allstate call those same people not even two months later asking them to come back but they have to reapply and interview for the position. Remember, we think logically but Tom Wilson and Glenn Shapiro dont. They will do anything to get more bonuses and money in their pockets. Now I don't know or worry about future layoffs because current job market is sizzling hot
