Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Almost all of my coworkers plan to leave soon

I don't know what the situation will look like after that, but already at the beginning of the next year, almost all my coworkers intend to leave. Me too. There is no point in staying here when so many options are now open. I don't think it's ever been easier to get a new job. What interests me is there anyone who is trying to find a new job but failing? Are there any such cases?

What I would do there is just follow the regional pbs or VPs wherever they go and whatever they do. That's what they did to me. Inviting themselves to a baseball game behind my back w a guy from IT I was going with. I do not have to be your friend outside of work fyi. If I wanted to hang w you I would have asked. Your neediness is no virtue. Your not all that even if you have a high ranking benefactor blowing smoke.

Anymore w social media and digital snooping harassment of all your off work hours are now your employers preview. It's not looked at from a legal standpoint just a hyper intolerant social point of view. A company like this uses it...social media fake accounts, Altoids, your phone gps, geo fencing, hidden listening devices, drive-bys of your residence, illegal swatting, your discount card to track you and the like.

Used to have these wannabes follow me around town. I would play soccer on Fridays w a few from regional. Every time I got the ball they would yell "p√$$y control". I knew they were trying to send me a message...that in this region there are those deemed worthy based on gender alone and I had the wrong chromosomes. I blew it off because the person they were all worshiping had about 10 months more in the company and was a h@ck one trick pony in the workplace and she attempted and failed every time to steal the ball from me. I could take it from her anytime I wanted but didn't out of stumpy pity.

There was a $200 gift from regionally for organizing the events and put that money right in the pockets.

Next week they didn't show and I took the crew out for drinks after the match and picked up the tab. How dare I upset the pecking order. Next week she tackled me from behind up near the knees knowing I wasn't wearing guards. I still have the picture of my bloody leg. I left. Went to a restaurant and when I come out 4 more minions come down the sidewalk and physically threaten me. I call police. They corner these whole j@Ck@$$es taking their names. I didn't follow up thinking the police would. They didn't. You know who you are. I hope you got fired too.

Just watch your back. It's all lies. The most demunitive person is always tasked w creating that fake work performance paper trail your hearing about. This lends believability to the made up allegations. What comes around goes around.

PS 7 hrs to cover 31 miles sounds like one very long slow walk

That's just your opinion and an indication of your poor attitude. I just called your mother and told her you are unmanageable.

What good is collusion if you cannot use it to illegally get the people you don't like fired for doing their job so you can go back to selling the wine samples by the glass off-site somewhere and use your DC to illegally transfer alcohol across state lines to boost profits. That region has mastered employee manipulation and work force identity purification. All the while cowering behind social justice harassment. Sad and shameless. If you don't have one of the top shelf identities you will not advance at this fake company. You know what I mean If only your eyes could see.... My only hope is that your career gets flushed down the toilet if not already....and flush it twice because it's a long way thru your lies and BS

Sounds like a fake policy used by pbs to identify specific stores.
Not uncommon for shady retailers or non union buisnesses.

In our region regional team is regarded as toxic and promote only their minions.
They usually send out emails to burn burn specific people to build fake work performance problems but I wonder how it’s going to work with pbs as not accepting written statements?
No one will come forward now since they have to let their identity be known face to face with one of the people you know you can’t trust “PBS”.
You can only expect to have the same people move up with no accountability from reNCgional.
When you are interviewed pbs fpr reporting problems follow up with an email that covers all the issues you reported in case you have have performance issues and thank thank them for taking your report seriously that will build a more solid base for a defense and law suit. There are many sources that will guide you on how to follow up on youtube , facebook and tik tok.

Final straw for me was store leadership getting mad because I suffered a work injury at "the wrong time".

the last post is correct on so many levels..the lack of accountability for consistent regional blunders is mind numbing...store leadership will often just parrot the regional b.s..sh*t rolls downhill.....dear team leaders ask yourself why you cannot see the regional kpi's

Most of us leaving at our location too.
Why?
We have to help teams when we only have 1 closer and the other teams have 2 to 3 closers more so we ki-l ourselves and the lazy teams take it easy .

Global, regional , pbs and store leadership are not on the same page when they email out voluntary programs but get forced by store leadership to participate and in the end they get all the credit.

The mass promotions in store leadership across the region especially our region is totally clueless on how to run teams and are exact clones of their mentors who should have not been put in a store leadership positions.

Pbs is slow responding to emails with team members questions and concerns.

Pbs is not trusted by team members due to all the shady / sketchy things that have happened in the company.

Dysfunctional teams are allowed to milk it and pass the workload to the better performing teams .

Team members are st-----g out, getting hurt, having heart attacks , anxiety attacks and quality of life is not there at all.

Team members get less in return every year.

Too many unproductive meetings with less accountability on regional , global and store leadership but severely increased accountability for team members as a company we already expected that since accountability has never happened on their end.

Loads are cut or limited but still have to respond to wbr’s and explain why you showed up on the report and a action plan even when regional were the ones responsible. (See the common denominator?)

Long term team members are surpassed in salary by new hires .

Least performing team members are promoted into leadership positions due to favoritism or to make it seem like hey we made a weak team member succeed.

Store leadership can’t id dysfunctional teams and ki-l the moral of others while not expecting more of the weaker teams.

Too many astl / stl duties passed on to non store leadership team members with no pay increase so they can go home early or have more days off then you see them relaxing in the office.
