Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Excited for January 3rd?

Who is excited to get back in the office? According to MW all the issues at Chevron are due to the pandemic and management seems to think getting back in the office will cure all the issues related to bad morale. We'll see what happens i guess.

Way too much strategic discussion! We all know that even in normal times it takes just about all of January to get the year started. In 2022, we’ll spend at least the first three weeks in the cafe trading WFH experiences the last 21 months. Even less work will get done than in WFH.

RTO and wear you mask, simple and easy.

Wash your hands, most of you probably don't when your in office.. and you can avoid the variant.

Harris County recently raised the COVID Threat Level to 2 - Significant which states medium or large gatherings should be avoided.

It's ridiculous to RTO during this surge.

If RTO was going to be delayed it would have already been announced. Your going back to the office son.

Anyone think RTO will be delayed with one of biggest surge we’ve had… so many companies have already delayed RTO.

I know I am.

Biden said that a "federal response" is not the key to combating the COVID-19 pandemic, which he said requires resolution at the "state level."

Especially with this statement. It means we will be following state law which eliminates not only the forcing but also the asking about your status
