I just saw somebody ask on another page if people would let them know what culture and job security are like at Allstate because they got an offer and were considering joining. All the answers were that both of the things are great. How can anybody say that? Objectively, Allstate has zero job security since we have non-stop layoffs. There are big rounds and constant small cuts. It's never-ending. And don't even start me on the culture. How can many people think it's great here?

I'm assuming whatever page that is is heavily monitored by HR or one of their contractors. Also likely one of those pages that is responsive to employers and quick to scrub negative content.
It's almost as if you really can't believe everything you read on the internet.
It's really a matter of perspective. Allstate compared to itself 20 years ago is not the same as Allstate compared to some of the actually toxic work environments out there.
