Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

My Christmas Wish!

All the over 50 workers that were schemed and basically laid off from their jobs to reduce expenses and increase Execs bonuses come together and file a multiple billion dollar class action discrimination lawsuit against SF. And win!

Departments of Insurance all over the country come together and see the horrible illegal claim practices of State Farm, total sh-t show, and launch a massive investigation into SFs business practices and mishandled claims. Tipsy and PS is lead out in hand cuffs and it's all over the national news. Has to give back the $20 million dollar bonus and they liquidate their financial holdings!

The new leader of State Farm says we are no longer going to abuse our employees to try to maintain a very expensive and useless agency workforce and gives them all notice they are done. SF moves to an on-line distribution model and offers products through independent agents and/or employee agents. Forever ending all the field discounting, claim manipulation and clogging up the phone/work environments with useless calls and the.... why hasn't this new app or claim that I submitted yesterday been worked.

A severance package is offered to any employee with over 20 years of service which includes 10 years of time credit service to acknowledge the last 10 years of lies, cheats, schemes, and personal life they people missed having to fix all these id-ots mistakes and profiteering to increase Execs SMIP bonuses!

Employees are allowed to work from home and choose where they want to live and get out the horrible expensive hubs! Pay raises will match inflation, we will actually work hours that match the reality of body shops, rental car agencies, and every other person or company we interact with that basically works Monday through Friday 9-5!

Ohhh and for all the trolls that try to ruin every thread on here-rot in h-e double L!

Some over 50 were harassed and ran off and exploited and stalked. Sickos run Corporate South and their operations

Only the long timers with little real life experience get high severance and big retirements. Pretty pathetic

@2rnt+1etCP7L6 Example: DARK WATERS with Dow Inc., and Teflon. They thought that a forgotten hillbilly from West Virginia couldn't bring them to their knees. They had their prejudices against the forgotten ones like many do today. Joe Manchin is just the start. Yes, like they think.....All Hi--------s are d-mb and toothless. Just like SF when you think a process employee is a d-mb minion.......Be careful! Sh*t happens!

In a death spiral? Wow someone is breathing their own fumes and living in a fantasy world. I get the disagreeing with approach and philosophy, me also, but to totally pretend the the company is in a death spiral is borderline crazy,

People today use words like insane, delusional, racist, and other harsh words toward people because it appears they are angry and only care about themselves. They appear to"get off" on hurting or putting another person down rather then come to the table with logical, concise and/or intelligent policies to resolve. "Process" orientated in contrast to analysis combining all schools of thought are to come to a rational decision for all. Another example is Tipsy. He loves accounting and appears to only look at numbers rather than the philosophy/mission/or vision of the company which in fact built that company to be the best. Unfortunately, my forecast when only one field of thought is implemented, the company no matter how much money it has will crumble. We see this in all branches of the government. Power corrupts and absolute power absolutely corrupts. The d-mbing of America's corporate brain.

@2tmv That is the issue right there in and of itself. SF for too damn long has held onto the myopic mindset that a four year BA in liberal arts or basket weaving somehow translates to successful leadership material. The thought of a degree translating to success and intelligence is beyond archaic and should be re-evaluated immediately. I mean he-l we’re already in a death spiral, what could change hurt?

It's like college degrees today. It is all process and indoctrination with no thought nor analysis. I call it the d-mbing of people in corporate America. SF is no different than all the rest. It's been like that since 2000. The only way for change is not to feed the monster.

Because if you weren’t an ex staples exec no one could be laid off? How naive.

@1kut SF had mass layoffs a couple years ago. Ask anyone who's been here a couple years about vivify or former staples executives brought on staff specifically to lay people off.
