Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Fun fact

Question: Bloomington-based State Farm is also one of the world’s busiest companies. How many claims does the insurance giant process in just one average day?
Answer: Try 36,000 claims every eight-hour work day - or 4,500 an hour, or 75 every minute, according to company statistics. That's 9.4 million in a year.

ChangeAgent is the type of agent I love telling no to. Agency commitment issues, coverage questions etc. I don’t care how big your book of business is my guy, you are just like everyone else. It must be hard for you when a claim handler laughs when say how much business your customer has, but that sterling attitude of yours must make you the hit at all of your New Years parties. 🤣

Gotta figure half of them are ERS and glass claims requiring little effort.

How can SF do this, ask industry experts?

Answer: Not very well.
