Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Don't take out your frustrations on us, please

It is amazing how unprofessional the attitude of some managers towards employees is. It goes so far that we have to suffer because of their personal frustrations. C'mon. So imagine that we all acted that way, that I start yelling at customers because my beloved cat is sick and I'm stressed about it. It's a stupid example, but it really doesn't make sense for managers to behave like that. No one is interested in their private affairs.

We had a manager like that and first chance I got I quit. Then I kept going in the store and more and more long time employees had quit.

Now there is a new store manager.

If everyone quits their true management ability shows. They have to hire, train and retain or they fail.

I think part of it is higher ups are looking over their shoulder at everything they do...plus Lowe's Corporate attitude of treating folks with an "...or else." threat.
