I don't like the way our toys look. I have children and I know how they react to our toys. Everything could be much better.
In order to finally have better toys, top dogs must first think about why we have toys like this that are no longer attractive to kids? What are the biggest reasons? Are designers doing a bad job? Is it a lack of money for toys?
mattel makes cost reduced garbage thanks to the Stock ton era abd their ridiculous investment in product lifecycle management that they made engineers take the training classes abd then try to have them explain the software to everyone else. Engineers are not known for their communication skills with other humans so the entire process was a fail. we all balked and ignored until it went away.
Fisher Price used to be able to make great toys….. then Mattel happened.
I honestly can't remember the last time I purchased a Mattel product and my kid is 9.
