Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

How much was the experience gained here worth to you?

I somehow managed to get an offer in a much better company. However, I have to admit that I am a little scared of the new beginning because I know that people there have more skills and experience than me.

Honestly, how much has the experience and skills you gained here made it easier for you to start in other companies that are far ahead of Xerox in every sense?

I don’t know about best in class in mono. But I got mono working at xerox.
Is that worth anything? 💋

“xerox has been voted as Best in Class for …Mono.”
Ever notice that every manufacturer seems to have an award?

Sooo, Xerox gear has gotten better in the last 8 years? Nope. Insanity=Repeating the same actions and expecting different results.

That video was dated 13 years ago.

You are juvenile to bring that up and think that people will believe you!

Stop this insanity!

Xerox products absolutely suck. Period. I don’t care what any vote says. They blow. You have no clue about what you are saying. You are a plant put here to dissuade people from believing the truth. Xerox completely sucks and that’s the reason people are leaving. Not because of your fantasy ideas of people not being able to hack it or we suck. We don’t. You obviously have no clue. You point out useless facts and then argue that you know best. You are plain and simply wrong. See if you can stir up some more Problems while your at it.

I left Konica and Canon, they did not fire me. I worked for another organization that got bought up by xerox. Not my doing in any way.
The computer based training is next to worthless. Hands on is what is needed. Being book smart and you can’t fix cr-p is not a good situation. Quit assuming you know why people left or you think they suddenly couldn’t hack it. There are many reasons why people leave companies that don’t need to be explained here.

Junk products? Where are you getting your information from?

Xerox has been voted as Best in Class products and we are also Best in Class in Product placements, whether Office or Production, Color or Mono.

Stop your childish whining when you do not have any fact-based information.

If all your experience came from KM & Canon, why did they let you go?

I am sure you got some training at Xerox, whether it was CBT-based or on-the-job training.

As you must know, most of your experience is while you are working and using all the troubleshooting methodologies that you obtain. Can't blame Xerox on that.

Very little. Most of my experience came from Canon and Konica Minolta.
Xerox pretty much throws you to the wolves. You are pretty much on your own. Especially after covid. If you are out of xerox that’s a major first step. You will be fine and land on your feet.
