I have a set schedule so I don’t have to worry about making plans and not knowing my schedule for the next week. I have paid holidays (not just Christmas) so I can see my family and not have to worry. No one has screamed at or berated me for not getting enough apps or credits. I sincerely hope that all of you on this board who are looking to get out find what you are looking for and make the jump. It’s so worth it. You’re worth more than how Belk treats you.

Isn't it a welcome change to have managers who treat you decently, get days off you request, bonuses, promotions, raises, and reduced stress.
So different from working at One He-l, I mean One Belk.
I did the same, and get bowled over by the most simple things. Like…I can call out, and mention that I’m available via email or teams or anything, and I’m told to not worry, just disconnect and feel better.
Or to enjoy my (paid) holidays.
Or to go to the doctor, because I have benefits, and no one cares if I leave an hour early.
Or just take 12 minutes to stretch and walk because it’s good for me.
Or just chat with my coworkers because there’s no appointments and happy workers are productive workers.
Of course there’s stress; there’s always stress. But Belk was UNNECESSARY stress. Just ants rebuilding the hill every time it got kicked.
We may not be the future CEOs yet and know it alls! However we know one thing we are seeking the truth about Belk and ignore all blind faith, yes man,”One Belk” perfect image as you see or read on this site. We just tell you the truth about the real Belk and you think it’s “HE-L”!
Sounds to me that the majority of people who post on this site are know it alls. Future CEO’s for sure- including you.
@zxh. Maybe people whine and complain on this board because thay get no support or resolution from their managers. And in my store people like you that are so quick to judge others are the first ones to complain if it is about them. Just because we complain does not mean we are not doing anything about changing things. Once again I will say you know nothing about me or anyone else that posts on this board. Oh I forgot from reading a couple of posts you know it all.
I am happy for you. If you point the direction to “Paradise”, all the “shortsighted top leaders” or STM Managers only see your finger! Hopefully, they all wake up now and follow your path to success.
Good for you. Instead of whining and complaining like so many people do on this board you took control of your career and found a better life. Way to go. Hopefully others will follow your example.
