If in CA, use your suck hours. Unlike PTO, you don’t get them when you leave.
I wonder how much Corporate executive theft is going on currently? It is a prime time to steal from the Company when all financials are negative. I think there should be some surprise audits to uncover this claim.
They want you to quit so they can save the severance. Don't believe them if they tell you that if you stay you can get a position at another BBBY. I personally know people who were told this and then laid off after their store closed.
For that amount of money goodbye.
Check out hobby lobby for a substantial raise. They are like Costco and pay well.
