Looks like Dave Shirk is out and a new guy from CWT, Kurt Ekert, is in. Interesting times.

Should be hard to blame COVID now, since 1A is eating our lunch by taking our customers... Maybe 1A didn't experience the same COVID variant that 1S did... We have a tough road ahead..
DR and the entire sales team continue to show just how ineffectual they are. Still blaming their lack of bringing in any new business on COVID.
KE/CWT - worked there for years and he did not one All Hands for anyone... only the canned emails for "Happy Holidays" and from executive level. Rarely a mention of the huge & high visiblity projects that had many of us working all month but one weekend off. To me he did not contribute nor listen to concerns sent up from management. Good luck - I sincerely mean that to all of you still there. FYI I left CWT as well but previously was with Sabre for decades during the "good ol' days" (SAM)! I truly hope he proves me wrong here and is not another SM.
Does the President title being removed from Sean, mean he's been demoted ?
@Bob Alouy
Good question. The one thing that's supposed to matter in sales is Results..
yet..
I dont know why everyone at Sabre clings to the thought of Google buying out Sabre... Sabre is just a client my friends, not one of the biggest nor the best.
Tired of hearing that theory for the last three years. Get over it. it ain't going to happen
How do folks like DR, our illustrious SVP of Sales keep their jobs when they fail to bring in new customers while losing huge chunks of our customer base? Blimey is it because he sounds like Steve Irwin?
@7uod+1ejizibz
TM and EH are part of SHS
TM, EH?
It is highly unlikely that Alphabet will buy a failing company even with a big market share. Take a look at the historical trend of companies that Google has aquired.
I am wondering when TMs turn will come. He made sure that some talented individuals left Sabre along with EH. He is retirement age and does not seem to do much.
The very long list of current and former Sabre executives who have fleeced their shareholders, customers and employees is pathetic.
I'll be honest, after the air centre sell off,
it was easy to conclude that this leadership team is the worst in the biz.
DS was SM axe guy. All that work is done now and DS was paid millions to do it.
SM is the problem at Sabre. Had been since his first day.
Not sure the new guy brings innovative or relationship talent to the table. He certainly made a mess at Travelport.
I'm sure those guys are having a good laugh right now.
Probably old news now, but COPA is partnering with DXC to rework their existing PSS platform rather than follow through with the previous PSS arrangement with Sabre. Let's not forget that EY is moving to Amadeus as well. Yes Challenging times ahead, have to wonder if the board is tasking SM to start training his replacement on 3rd Jan... Not sure what the future holds, maybe Alphabet will buy us out and life with be superfine..
Do you really think we need help with corporate TMC customers? This is the only segment we are doing well in. Can't say we're doing so well in the other segments. Not sure what Kurt brings us here. On the whole, we continue to lose PSS customers and bids...Southwest, Air India and now Hawaiian. And did anyone see the Marriott announcement with Amadeus? I mean... I hope Kurt's up for the challenge.
welcome Kurt, someone who understands the corporate TMC business can position us well.
So DS stays on as "advisor" to SM and the other execs. This translates to DS is getting a Sh!*load of money to do nothing.
LOL. From CWT?
To lead a so called "tech company"?
We have C-level managers from airlines and hotel and PMs/MBAs who managed fitness club before they realized they are geek girls cause they have an iPhone and Apple Watch.
God help us...
I guess he's out of the boat!
