@2lkg+1ejCJiOyv - if you got a "BS" raise and bonus last year, it probably is because of your (lack of) performance. Mine was definitely not BS. Neither were my subordinates.

I thought it was a good but not great address. Workmanlike and to the point, but not really inspiring. I think she should present the high points then let the various business VPs present.

Nobody likes me. Nobody cares. I don’t care anymore. Oh, and can I have a raise and work from home forever?

The only people that care if we work here are our direct managers, co-workers, and maybe director and vice presidents. HR could care less and we are all just a number to them. If your direct manager and his boss are not fighting for you then you are hosed. It does not matter who you impress if they don't fight the fight for you. Problem is they keep using the debt and covid as an excuse that we should just be happy to have a job. For sure there is some truth to that, but when things change people will have the opportunity to leave.

Yes, oil finds, produces, and transports itself.

BTW, employees are stockholders too.

Let’s think about the stockholders and stock price for a change. The employees don’t matter.

Sounds like our bonuses and raises are just going to be normal target range this year which is BS considering the amount of money the company has made this year with $75 oil and the fact we are sitting at 6.5% inflation. You compare this to companies like Devon who just gave out a 10k Christmas bonus to all employees and Hilcorp giving 75k to each employee. Oxy is going to have a brain drain if they don’t pay up, especially after the BS bonus and raises we got last year.

When has VH ever been inspiring? It might help if she acted happy and enthusiastic every once in a while.

The way this APC thing ended up is a shame. The company had really gotten their act together from a few decades ago and this just dragged it down again.

Just another Oxy gimmick. The company is the clown of the oil and gas industry. Dance, monkeys, dance.

If DAC moves the stock higher to above 40 and gives us back the dividend at least 1 buck a share it is a great thing. Otherwise what is the point.
