Thread regarding ExxonMobil Singapore layoffs

Is attrition really at an all time high?

I hear almost every day that attrition has never been higher. I hear about it from my coworkers and I see people saying the same thing on the EM board on this site.
On the other hand I don’t see people actually leaving in the amount that these people claim. I get that there is a certain level of attrition, there always was, but to say that it is at an all time high seems to me more like hear-say than actual facts. Is that level of attrition really present and from what areas of the company are those people leaving the most?

yes, all time high for the last 13+ years that I've been with EM SG.

hardly hear any ppl leaving in the past (maybe a handful per year).

now it is a handful every other week. >_<

Attrition, I would say, is the greatest since I’ve been here and that’s four years back.
