It's always Feb 13th or 14th, the traditional St. Valentine Day's Massacre..yawn...nothing new.....but nowadays I don't think people give a hoot, what's at stake ? just a sh---y job at Pepsico ?
heard rumors of a possible announcement in February. anyone else?
I am in payroll. they told me in. Jan 2020 my job is going away. They have been hanging a carrot over my head for this buyout package for 2 years now. I have heard rumors of managers sending the pay to India, but these managers can't seem to tell me when their people are out sick/LOA. How do they expect the managers to know how to pay their drivers?
I am just hoping I hear sooner than later. I have worked too long for this company not to get a buyout
Yes. Payroll admins. It’s not a full time job. Centralize and remove issues. Look around you. Everyone is disposable in Pepsi eyes.
do you really think they will lay off payroll admins?
There will be layoffs in the coming year. Getting rid of admins and sending jobs to Mexico and India. Centralizing all admin work. Invoices, customer set ups, payroll will be next
With more automation and more emphasis on supply chain challenges, one can imagine less focus on innovation and marketing activities. That will result in layoffs in second week of Feb.
Why not let those die who choose not
to get their jabs, there will be less id--ts in existence over time. Just focus on providing more protection and segregation to the vaxed folks. That will be the only way to overcome politization.
I believe that will see how many people they can get off payroll due to vax mandates (illegal) and go to February for layoff plans if not enough depart. It's sad yet they are allowing gov't to do dirty work this year.
Exemptions being approved.
I meant more along the lines of more departments getting let go.
Yes, in the form of a vax mandate
