I'm not sure how they plan on increasing foot traffic when our stores are a dumpster fire and they have been like that not for months but for years. The worst part is, it seems like nobody cares and nobody is trying to do anything about it. It feels like everybody has just given up and is waiting for the inevitable to happen.

I do have an exit stratagy and I will be leaving soon. And just because I don't like what belk has become does not mean I have no work ethic. You really know nothing about me or anyone else that posts on this site. I guess judging from your post @11o+ your quite the know it all. Talk about stupidity!
Talking sense to a blind Belk fools and he calls you foolish! It is not about making $16 or $12 at Belk that we care. It is about the Belk culture has changed from family owned to no vision and no compassion company we used to work for. If you can’t stand reading the truth about Belk company by all mean don’t read and reply just go back to Belk “paradise” you always love!
Because the competitors that they interviewed with want someone who is positive and has a work ethic.
Doesn’t seem like anyone posting comments here has any of that. Then they wonder why they can’t make $16/hr vs. their current $12/hr. so they come to this board and spew stupidity.

Being a whiner is better then ignoring the truth. Oh I forgot ignoring the truth is the belk way. I have never seen so many bull___t excuses as belk management dishes out.
