So I think jobs outside of claims like back office, tech support, underwriting, and customer service are actually good jobs. Work load is reasonable and pay is decent. I think department really matters

Underwriting is super stagnant. Chatting with agents isn’t bad, but you’re micromanaged to the t and questioned for every second of aux usage.
You better not have to use the restroom outside of your planned breaks.
Tech isn't bad when we aren't being dragged into pointless projects
10 years in Law Dept/Lit Services and it's a hot mess too. There are a bunch of departments I don't deal with, but the ones I do deal with are all in the same boat.
