Do you think they will try the same mess they did with Thanksgiving? Meaning, only two days off again? I currently have the whole weekend and Monday off. I would like for it not to be revoked.

That's a store level issue. My district has employees, managers off three days.
They want no OT.
Lowe’s new policy states that you’re supposed to work five days on the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas. The change happened just after the Thanksgiving schedule was posted. They’re trying to spin this as some sort of benefit for us. 🙄
Some stores evidently can’t follow policy, or the management staff can’t read because some are still scheduling their stores with three days off that week. It just shows you how scr*we’d up some of the stores and districts really are.
i am scheduled five days that week. Maybe made sense for Thanksgiving week as it had the potential to be busy, but Christmas week is usually pretty slow for specialty departments in the twelve years i've been there. Getting paid for six days is okay but during the Holiday week i'd prefer the 4 day schedule.
Lowe's is only closed 2 days a year. Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Oh yeah , we got Easter of too.
