Too bad the bo-m times aren’t rolling back. Not now, not ever.

Giving everyone a $10k bonus is a cop-out. Giving everyone a 10% raise would have been more meaningful. Just in case nobody has figured it out, non-executive bonuses are how your employer gets you to do more work for less pay.

That's a nice bonus. I didn't get anything this year. 1.75% raise. That one hurt.

Bonus doesn’t mean that a company cares about their employees.

Does that company allow flex time, sick time, ERGs such as BEST, ACE, WIN, PRIDE, do they have team building activities, team lunches, Halloween costume contests at work, ugly sweater contests at Christmas, Christmas parties, do they provide training and mentoring for employees, these are all the things ExxonMobil provides because ExxonMobil cares about their employees.

Companies that pay bonuses treat their employees like prostitutes. If you want to be a pr-------e then go work for them. If you want a rewarding career where you will grow professionally at a company that cares about their employees and where you enjoy working, then work for ExxonMobil. Money isn’t everything, winning is!
