We're treated way worse than they are. We could do the same! Right now they need us more than we need them. How do we make this happen so they'll quit treating us like garbage??

Hahahaha. You guys crack me up. Here’s what happens if you speak of a union and that store finds out. A call is placed to the Walmart ETF. They then dispatch a task force to said store. All management or pretty much all are “suspended.” The task force dives deep into the store and then “issues” are found and the store is then closed. Then you and everyone of your fellow associates have no place to work. I’ve seen it happen. You don’t want to go there. Plus, unions aren’t that great. Been there too.
Nobody is forcing you to work at Walmart. Do I agree with everything they do? Absolutely not. I argue with my management everyday but yet I still continue to do my work with proud because that’s how I was raised. I make pretty good money there. Would I like more? Sure. But, im not going to cry about it. These associates have it easy. I’ve been with the company 15 years. It’s much easier today then it was 15 years ago because everyone has the access to the same tools. Back then we didn’t. Suck it up or just get out.
Go for it!! Unionize. Get a bunch of signatures to have a Union vote. But, better get your resume updated and start your job search before you do, because you…. and all your coworkers will be looking for new jobs.
But the stone cold truth is that a union will not make Walmart a better place to work if you already don’t like working there. And you won’t make more money and any advancement you might be looking for or might get will be seriously hampered.
But, yeah, go ahead.
Go work for Starbucks! There you go, problem sovled
There's more than a million of us. We can bi--h and complain all we want, but only if we unionize will they ever bother to listen. They can't function without workers and they can't replace us all. If even half of us would stand up and join a union they would be forced to change their ways.
There is no group of workers more in need of a labor union than employees of this corrupt, immoral corporation. No labor union would tolerate the exploitation that passes as the norm in this horrible place.
Its a no brainer that walmart needs a union to go in there and make a stand. Workers are TOO SCARED to actually do the right thing; and a union is the right thing. UPS; KROGERS; AIRLINE WORKERS; POSTAL WORKERS ETC. Are protected by unions and walmart workers protected by nothing. You have no respect, no appreciation, no say or freedom to speak up so what do u have to lose. Yeah u say oh I need my job but u can go to any corner and get employment with better treatment for companies that may at least say thanks for busting your a.. I worked for walmart for 23 yrs. And the day my market mgr. Snapped her finger at me and said get over here i was done. I dont get that treatment or accept that treatment from anyone and i certainly wasnt going to do it for a company i had given 23 yrs to.
