word has it Netapp is giving select employees raises starting next paycheck. My guess is
that they are trying to stem the tide of attrition; maybe they are starting with those underpaid? other criteria?
anyways money is a nice gesture, but not a fix for everything.

Went out for a little holiday get together. The 5% raise came up. It seems that about half got it, maybe a little less. They were all told tell no one. Seems strongly weighted to developers and other internal people.
